Thus, statistically corrected, updated forecasts for the next ten days are calculated for about 5400 locations around the world. Most forecasting locations are spread over Germany and Europe. MOSMIX forecasts (PFCs) include nearly all common meteorological parameters measured by weather stations.

The differences between the pairs are used in the quality control. This is done manually by inspecting plots of half-day diurnal courses of the pairs and their differences. Values are removed mostly in the morning due to daily cleaning. Other reasons for larger differences are birds, insects, or people at the station. There are regular fog events varying in frequency over the year. Usually, the fog appears in the second half of the night and disappears a few hours after sunrise. The case temperatures of pyrgeometers practically never drop below dewpoint but there can be water deposition of the dome.completedVogt, Rolandroland.vogt@unibas.chhttp://duw.unibas.ch/personen/profil/profil/person/vogt-1/informationprincipalInvestigatorBSRNBaseline Surface Radiation NetworkthemePANGAEA Project List1995-01-01creationPANGAEAinfo@pangaea.dehttps://www.pangaea.de/informationpointOfContactcopyrightcopyrightBSRN-1.0: Baseline Surface Radiation Network License 1.0textTableenggeoscientificInformation15.0419815.04198-23.5614-23.56142013-01-01T00:00:002013-01-31T23:59:002.02.0DATE/TIMEthematicClassificationHEIGHT above groundphysicalMeasurementmmShort-wave downward (GLOBAL) radiationphysicalMeasurementPyranometer, Kipp & Zonen, CMP22, SN 110315, WRMC No. 20100W/m**2W/m**2Direct radiationphysicalMeasurementPyrheliometer, Kipp & Zonen, CHP 1, SN 110764, WRMC No. 20000W/m**2W/m**2Diffuse radiationphysicalMeasurementPyranometer, Kipp & Zonen, CMP22, SN 110316, WRMC No. 20101W/m**2W/m**2Long-wave downward radiationphysicalMeasurementPyrgeometer, Kipp & Zonen, CGR4, SN 110408, WRMC No. 20200W/m**2W/m**2Short-wave upward (REFLEX) radiationphysicalMeasurementPyranometer, Kipp & Zonen, CMP22, SN 120330, WRMC No. 20102W/m**2W/m**2Long-wave upward radiationphysicalMeasurementPyrgeometer, Kipp & Zonen, CGR4, SN 120457, WRMC No. 20201W/m**2W/m**2Air temperature at 2 m heightphysicalMeasurementThermometer°C°CHumidity, relativephysicalMeasurementHygrometer%%Station pressurephysicalMeasurementBarometerhPahPatext/tab-separated-valuesunknownhttps://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.808314?format=textfiledownloaddatasetThe data set was checked for completeness, correctness, and consistency of metainformation.
